“* * * * 1/2 (out of five)… Coulter, demonstrating how she became so renowned in the first place… may be passing the torch to a new generation, but it’s one that is clearly bright and fiery. And in the hands of newcomers like McKee, it won’t be extinguished any time soon.” –Carly Maga, Torontoist

“NNNN (out of five)…  In some ways, the World Stage production of Lear turns Shakespeare’s play on its head. But in others, it captures much of the majesty and vastness of the Bard’s tragedy.” –Jon Kaplan, Now Magazine

“Clare Coulter is giving fragments of one of the best King Lears I have seen, certainly one of the most moving… Coulter plays it all sublimely, each detail freshly discovered.” –Robert Cushman, National Post

“* * * 1/2 (out of four) …Entertaining and surprising.” J. Kelly Nestruck, The Globe and Mail

“Easily the most radical, most visceral, most exciting Shakespeare I've ever seen in Canada. Bravo.” –Holger Syme, Dispositio
